Submission Guildlines

Would you like to see your work published in Skribblers Magazine?

If so, please send it to us! For writing, e-mail is fast and easy. Send it to skribblerssubmissions@hotmail.com. In the e-mail, please include your name, age, school,home address . Submissions without this information cannot be considered. We accept submissions under 1000 words. In the body ofthe email please tell us the type of work you are sending, especially if it is for one of our features. (For example: Brainstorm topic)

If you want to use regular mail, please include the same information. Work cannot be returned so please keep a copy.

We love art! For artwork and comics, please send us a copy with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Be sure it is clear and dark enough for reproduction! Use unlined paper 8X10. Be sure each frame of a comic is on its own 8x10 paper.

Note to parents: It is perfectly fine to submit stories that younger children (7 and under) have dictated to you. Please do keep the story true to their telling. Pleasedo encourage them to submit an accompanying illustration. Edit the piece without changing their meaning and structure. Share with them the editing that you do,so they can learn about the writing process.

All pieces may be edited. All work must be original and unpublished. Copyright remains property of the writer/artist, however by submitting your work, you agree to allow Skribblers to use your work in publication, advertising, or other forms connected to the magazine. Although last names will be used in the print magazine, no last names will be posted in online content.

*If you do not wish for your last name to be used anywhere or for your work to be used for online (internet) purposes, you must indicate so in the submission.

Please be sure to send your submission/permission form in the mail even for e-mailed submissions.
