Three 9 yr olds from Forts Ferry Elementary School in North Colonie are doing extraordinary things
for their community.
Danicia , Xiomara , & Ofu came up with the idea right
before school ended in June, to start their own club. Xi-Xi tells us, "My mom said we needed to have a purpose, so we came
up with the idea to help other people. She used the first letters of our names to make up a name for our group. 'DXO' stands
for Doing Xtra- Ordinary things."
DXO works together to volunteer their services to various organizations in their
community. Their four part mission is: Community Service- Making a difference- Working together- Helping Others.
