Sacandaga Lake

I went to Sacandaga Lake last summer.  It was fun.  I went swimming.  The water was warm.  I went on a boat ride.  The ride was bumpy and the water was wavy.  I got really wet.  I slept on the boat.  In the morning I ate breakfast.  I had pancakes, then I went home.

Sunsets

Sunsets are amazing to watch.  It is cool when the sun goes down.  Sunsets are very colorful.  You can see pink, white, yellow, orange, and purple.  Sunsets remind me of fires.  Both have pretty colors.  Sunsets make me feel like I’m walking on a hill.  I love sunsets.

Spring

I was in the snow, thinking
that winter was going to soon
vanish into beautiful spring,
then suddenly someone said,
"Do not be sad child, you have
a chance to start over."

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall

Winter

Cold icy snow

The days go by very slow

Snowflakes piling up

Far away are the days of spring

When flowers bloom and birds sing

Spring

Crisp and clean the air

Bees are buzzing here and there

Flowers start to grow

The grass grows taller and green

The sun’s rays strengthen and gleam

Summer

The days are longer

The sun is hot like fire Time to go swimming

Fun times with family and friends

We hope the time does not end

Fall

Leaves are falling down

Some people are raking leaves

The air gets chilly

Tree branches are getting bare

We have leaf piles to share
