Going to the Tulip Festival
Every year
we go to the Tulip Festival. A rainbow of tulips, so pretty
The smell
of spring, colors of summer.
“Tulips
are NOT for picking,” Mom tells my little brother.
A sign of
summer to come, Grandma comes from Connecticut. She loves all the flowers. Last year she got lost!
Not lost,
in the beautiful land of flowers, but lost in the crowded park.
The large
wet fountain
Kids playing
in the water
A pool of
water
Surrounded
by flowers,
There we found
Grandma
Watching kids
play.
It was a perfect day!
